"“Comida estupenda”, dicen mis suegros. I enjoyed the pastel de berenjena (eggplant) in tomato sauce. The waiter was charming and warm and amazing with my child, speaking several languages, suggesting a meal with different things to try that a child might like, and bringing his food first (even though my child found it all too salty and only ate the bread (which was very good) . Our group also tried the red pepper salad which was nice, although not amazing, and the medallions de solomillo con salsa pimienta verde. It looked like a heart attack on a plate to me, but they thought it was absolutely delicious. The only complaint was that the meat (which only 2 people ordered) came out much later than everyone else’s food. But then again, the other things were appetizers we ate as mains."

"Fuimos a comer la familia por el cumpleaños de mi padre y la verdad que más agusto no pudimos estar. Es un restaurante acogedor, con calidad en sus productos y un buen servicio. De entrantes pedimos una ración de morcilla, y otra de alcachofas... Estaban increíbles! Además cada uno pedimos un plato, tales como entrecot de vaca, paletilla de cordero, pluma o cochinillo. Nos encantó! Además, su postre de helado de higo nos dejó sin palabras! Recomiendo 100%"

"Great service and food. I brought my parents and their 6 friends from Sweden to "el horno" to eat lamb steak. First dish was a delicious traditional "remojón" (cod with orange and olives), a success amongst the swedes. The grilled lamb was just perfectly juicy and to finish of the waiter brought in a home made "pacharan" (juniper liqueur) that made us all sing. Thank you for a perfect night."

"Best lamb I have had in 10 years. Traditional Spanish cooking style in brick oven ('horno'). Tremendously attentive service and solid wine list. Try the Ribera."

"What an amazing experience eating here. We were greeted by the owner Blas and right away we felt like we were home. We wanted to try some different dishes and they were are all amazing. The mollejas were out of this world and dipping bread in the remaining sauce was just a real treat. The entrecot was perfect. You can taste the good quality in the meet and the potatoes were just amazing. Chuletitas de Cordero were also really good. Wine was great and we had an ice cream dessert that we couldn't believe how good it was (fig ice cream). The service was great. Never felt rushed and had a great experience here that we will definitely repeat when we come back this way. Highly recommend eating here."
